About Us
Our Story
Branchwell started in a cluttered garage in 2022, born from a simple frustration: we couldn't find everyday products that were actually good for the planet without paying a premium markup or sacrificing quality. We were tired of choosing between "eco-friendly" and "effective." So we started sourcing directly from small manufacturers who shared our obsession with materials — organic cotton, reclaimed wood, biodegradable packaging — and testing everything ourselves before it ever touched our shelves. What began as a weekend project turned into a mission we couldn't put down.
We believe sustainability shouldn't feel like a sacrifice or a lecture. Every product we carry has to meet three standards: it has to work as well as (or better than) its conventional counterpart, it has to come from a supply chain we can actually trace and stand behind, and it has to be something we'd want in our own homes. We're not interested in greenwashing or vague claims — we publish our sourcing details, we ask hard questions of our vendors, and we say no to a lot more products than we say yes to.
We serve people who care about their impact but don't have time to research every single purchase — busy families, first apartment renters, and anyone trying to make better choices without turning it into a full-time job. What makes us different is that we've already done the digging. We negotiate directly with small-batch makers to keep prices honest, we skip the excess packaging, and we plant a tree for every order through our reforestation partner because we believe in giving back more than we take. Branchwell isn't trying to be everything — we're trying to be the store you trust to have already vetted the good stuff.
